10th July 2010 Windsurfing: Broadhaven Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Knee-high Air Temperature: 20 Sea Temperature: 13 Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Broadhaven - 2.30 til 4.00 - first time sailing in Pembs! Windguru Pro had forecast 20mph gusting to 30 and it seemed windy driving to the beach, but on arrival there were no white caps and only knee high waves (no surfers). Cross to cross-off. Gave it a go on 90 litres and 5.7. There were some gusts, but they were too short to give satisfying blasting and the waves were too small to give much of a push. On the plus side, the surroundings were fantastic and the water a beautiful colour. |
